Punjab Government Approves 3,904 New Posts in Crime Control Department (CCD)

In a major step towards improving law and order in the province, the Government of Punjab has approved the creation of 3,904 new posts in the Crime Control Department (CCD). This decision was taken during the 24th meeting of the Provincial Cabinet held on March 27, 2025, and has now been officially communicated via the Finance Department on April 9, 2025.
The government has allocated a budget of Rs. 86.840 million per month (approximately Rs. 1.74 billion for two months and 20 days) for the new positions under the Supplementary Grant.

Assistant Software Developer (BPS-16) – 16 posts
Superintendent Detective (BPS-19) – 8 posts
Inspector (ID) (BPS-16) – 48 posts
Junior Detective (JD) (BPS-14) – 44 posts
Junior Clerk (JC) (BPS-11) – 444 posts
Field Detective (FD) (BPS-07) – 900 posts
Constable/FCF (BPS-07) – 1,800 posts
Junior Computer Operators (BPS-12) – 184 posts
Assistant Sub-Detective (BPS-11) – 320 posts
This recruitment drive covers positions from technical IT roles to investigative officers and field-level operatives.

Move an Audit Copy for fund bifurcation and account verification.
